MMIWG involves:

  • Disproportionate rates of violence

  • Systemic neglect and racism

  • Intergenerational trauma

Our Mission:

We collectively strive to empower our people to honour our health through active participation in our holistic programs and community-rooted services.  Through a collaborative approach, we are dedicated to preserving our culture and enriching the lives of those we serve.

June Health Theme:

June is a time to focus on men's and boys' health. It's a great opportunity to take proactive steps; book a screening, enjoy a nutritious meal, get moving, spend time outside, and connect with a friend. Use this month to build healthy habits that can last all year long. There are plenty of online resources available, offering everything from nutritious recipes and workout tips to mental health podcasts and information on testicular and prostate cancer checks. Explore what’s out there, find what suits you best, and take that first step today.
